Off the book shelf (or Kindle)

As a child I loved reading, it was away of escape for me into other worlds. You could always find me nose in a book from Pollyanna to The Secret Garden and everything in between especially if it involved horses. As I got older and life took over I continued to read a bit peace-meal as I always seem to be behind the wheel of a car taking one or other of the children somewhere and the rest of the time was either working or running a home.  It wasn't until  2013 that I suddenly realised I had time back in my life for books, to the point I got a bit addicted to buying them.  Although I do like to hold a real book in  my hand I have succumbed to a kindle as a back up, which has proved a godsend since we moved house, as the nearest town is 15 miles away. As I will be writing a post of any books I read and have found to be a real page turner and unputdownable, I thought I would add a short cut to the post to make it easier to find them again should you wish to. All you need to do is click on the link below and it will take you to my current reads or to those of previous years.

In the meantime happy reading 📖
