Off the bookshelf (or kindle) 2018

As a child I loved reading, it was away of escape for me into other worlds. You could always find me nose in a book from Pollyanna to The Secret Garden and everything in between especially if it involved horses. As I got older and life took over I continued to read a bit peace-meal as I always seem to be behind the wheel of a car taking one or other of the children somewhere and the rest of the time was either working or running a home.  It wasn't until  2013 that I suddenly realised I had time back in my life for books, to the point I got a bit addicted to buying them.  Although I do like to hold a real book in  my hand I have succumbed to a kindle as a back up, which has proved a godsend since we moved house, as the nearest town is 15 miles away. As I will be writing a post of any books I read and have found to be a real page turner and unputdownable, I thought I would add a short cut to the post here to make it easier to find them again should you wish to.

In the meantime happy reading 📖
