Caramel Sauce




For the sauce you will need:

6 tablespoons of light brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter
4 tablespoons of double cream


  • To make the sauce put all the ingredients into a saucepan and heat gently stirring until smooth. 
  • Increase the heat and boil for 1 minute.
  • Use whilst hot to add to sponge puddings or allow to cool and store in the refrigerator and drizzle over ice cream or cheese cake.
